Hello, I'm new to the board, but do frequently read the discussions. I have been an avid runner for about the past 6 1/2 years, but since the middle of June I have been battling a nagging injury. I first was told by my doctor that I had a hamstring injury, well after many weeks of rest and physical therapy, there was little improvement. Around the first of September, I finally decided to see another doctor. They wanted to do an MRI. The diagnosis was ischial tuberosity bursitis, well I thought I finally had the answer and now I could get better soon. Now here I am almost two months and two cortisone shots later and still am having the same pain. Has anyone else had this injury? Can you recommend and doctors? I have read online that some chiropractors can treat this injury, has anyone any experience with chiropractors in treating running related injuries? If so who do you recommend? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I feel like I'm never going to be able to run again. Help!!!
