Race Walking / Speed Walking Clinic?

We have some great race walkers in our club! Does SFTC have plans to do a race walking / speed walking clinic for "wanna-be's"?

Appleseed, this really needs one of the racewalkers to step up to the plate and take the lead here. Although we have a racewalk rep on the SFTC board (Bobby Baker), he has been unable to fulfill his role recently. None of the other board members or regular attendees at the meetings are walkers so walkers don't have any representation right now. So if any of you racewalkers out there want to get more involved, step right up please!

This may be a foolish question, but what exactly is "race walking"? This sounds very interesting to me.
